About

I am a habitat restoration ecologist/botanist by profession. I am those things plus cyclist/backcountry skier/trail runner/photographer/feral nerd.  I live in the Great Basin at its western border with the Sierra Nevada which is pretty much the ideal spot for me. I spend a great deal of my professional and personal time in the boonies of Nevada.

  1. Hi I met you at the September meeting of the Nevada Native Plant Society. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your talk about habitat restoration across Nevada.
I also enjoyed reading your blogs. Especially about you rambles on Peavine. I go up there about five or six times a year. I was just up there a week ago collecting seed.
